CNBC's Cryptotrader host is no stranger to the crypto scene, especially on twitter where he is very active. In one of his most recent tweets he says "I’m thinking of leaving Crypto and starting a Cannabis show on CNBC -Thoughts?"
I’m thinking of leaving Crypto and starting a Cannabis show on CNBC -Thoughts?— Ran NeuNer (@cryptomanran) October 18, 2018
While the tweet is most probably a joke, just to cause some discussion with the recent success of cannabis stocks and the legalization of cannabis in Canada, Ran got a flood of replies to his tweet.
Most of the replies however, were just people roasting the presenter back to the stone age:
Think u been smoking too much— Merri (@BluAngelMerri) October 18, 2018
Might as well seeing as you don’t know much about anything #Crypto.— $andman (@SandmanXRP) October 18, 2018
Oh snap!— Zissou™ (@ZeusZissou) October 18, 2018
You had me at 'leaving Crypto'.— Paul Everton (@realpauleverton) October 18, 2018
He lost me at “I’m thinking”— Johnny Law (@printdatmoney) October 18, 2018
You leaving the space would be a better bottom indicator than Tony shorting yearly support.— Mayne (@Tradermayne) October 18, 2018
Hahahahahahahahaha— Matt Odell (@matt_odell) October 18, 2018
From talking shit to smoking shit— Peter McCormack #FreeRoss (@PeterMcCormack) October 18, 2018
The abuse doesn't come close to ending there. The replies literally continue forever with people agreeing that Ran should leave the crypto space. Perhaps too much shilling of certain projects has twisted people's faith in his ability to be a figure for fair reporting on the industry. Either way, Ran gave the platform to be roasted, and the crowd with pitchforks did the rest.
