BL3P, One of the largest Dutch crypto exchanges removes BCH

Bl3p, one of the largest Dutch cryptocurrency exchanges has taken the decision to delist Bitcoin cash (BCH).

Representatives for the company said in a statement that they maintain a strict selection policy when it comes to altcoins support and that BCH doesn’t meet these “requirements”, and therefore will be delisted. This action was already in motion but the upcoming fork gave it a strict deadline. BCH holders where given until today (14 May, 2018, 15:00:00 CEST) to withdraw their funds from the exchange. Their advice was to either move it to another BCH supported exchange or wallet.

This comes as another blow for Bitcoin Cash, Back in March Kucoin and OKEx exchanges both delisted BCH pairings due to “inadequate illiquidity”.

Meanwhile BCH forks tomorrow, right now the price of BCH is $1,324.67 (USD) down 1.1% in the last 24 hours. Only time will tell how this news and the upcoming fork will affect the price.
