Tron to partner with industry giant, says Justin Sun

Maestro of hype and CEO of Tron, Justin Sun, has managed to pique the interest of his 455K Twitter followers with a rather vague and intriguing Tweet…

The Tron Founder and CEO played a classic game of “guess the new industry partner worth billions of dollars” (what, you’ve never played that?):

This led to a mass discussion on who the industry partner could be. For some reason, many opted for the e-commerce giant, Alibaba, despite their valuation being in the hundreds of billions (wishful thinking, perhaps)

Others theorized that it could be the internet company, Baidu:

Even TokenPay came out with their own guess…

Some decided to play a game of their own:

However, some disagreed with Sun’s marketing strategy, asserting that the tactic of “announcing announcements” are beginning to do more harm than good:

A fair point perhaps, considering many followers instantly called out Alibaba as a potential partner.

It is, however, an understandable tactic, recently Sun’s announcement regarding the rollout of Tron’s mainnet upgrade, saw TRX surge up 12% in the hours following the tweet.

So far, no such price action has occurred; TRX currently sits at an increase of 0.82% in the past 24 hours.

Prices correct at the time of writing.
