Bitcoin climbs by 4% following the start of consensus 2018

Just hours after the start of Consensus 2018 in New York, the first big green candle of Bitcoin is visible on the charts.

Bitcoin jumped from $8400 to $8750 in a short time after the first talks were given on the conference in Hotel Midtown in New York City.

Consensus 2018 was opened with the news that New York City will open a blockchain resource center and host a blockchain competition, followed by speeches of Don Tapscott, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis Jim Bullard and FedEx CIO Robert Carter.

Many investors in cryptocurrency believe that Consensus has been start of a big rally in the market the last few years. Ethereum and Ripple seem to follow this first Bitcoin pump with a rise of 5%.
