The Lupus Foundation of America announced they're accepting cryptocurrencies for donation.
Looking to provide more convenience to their donors and supporters, the Lupus Foundation of America (LFA) added a new method to donate to the organization. The foundation now accepts donation in the form of cryptocurrency, as announced on their official website Lupus.org.
The foundation will be working with The Giving Block, a blockchain company to start accepting Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Ethereum Classic (ETC) as donation.
On the announcement, the LFA's president and CEO, Stevan W. Gibson said, "We recognize the benefit of accepting cryptocurrency and the groundbreaking nature of blockchain technology."
Furthermore, he added, "With this new capability, we are also looking forward to expanding into accepting more cryptocurrencies as well as how we can leverage blockchain to elevate our impact as we see more individuals and organizations using this technology."
