BTC/EUR price swings in the last 24 hours on Bitstamp raise questions from users

BTC price in EUR fluctuates wildly on Bitstamp that raised questions and comments from the platform's users.

Several Redditors posted threads on r/Bitcoin related the BTC/EUR's fluctuation on Bitstamp at around the same hour today, with both are questioning if there is anything happening on the exchange platform that has caused the "crazy" price swings.

What is happening at Bitstamp right now? -13% in one second and a minute later +15% and still on the rise from r/Bitcoin

Whats going on at Bitstamp? BTC at 6600€ (7600$)? from r/Bitcoin

Although some comments expressed suspicion, like "sounds a bit fishy to me" or "Already felt lucky but seems like a problem with bitstamp", most of them think it's just a normal thing in the crypto space.

Strangely though, such thing doesn't happen with BTC/USD pairing. According to Bitstamp website as of press time, in the past 24-hours, BTC's lowest price is EUR 4941.39 and the highest is EUR 6650, whereas in USD, the lowest price is USD 6526.28 and the highest is USD 6572.41.

Bitstamp has a lot of problems right now. This is a lousy crypto exchange. Do not advise anyone.
