Blockchain-based enterprise data storage solution, Bluzelle secures $1.5M funding

Bluzelle, the blockchain-based enterprise data storage solution provider successfully closes a $1.5 million funding. 

Singapore-based blockchain solution provider, Bluzelle just secured a $1.5 million Series A round led by a venture capital firms Global Brain, LUN Partners Capital and True Global Ventures. 

According to CCN, the startup develops a decentralized database service to facilitate the "new internet" to "run efficiently and scale exponentially" or as the CEO said, "What Oracle provides for the current internet, we provide for the New Internet."

Furthermore, he said, "By 2020, there will be over 20 billion devices sending data to reach other – and that data will have to be stored securely, with high performance and low cost. In the blockchain powered New Internet, everything from applications to back-end platforms to data storage will be decentralized."

The startup, who's partnered with KPMG and Microsoft, will use to funding to scale their enterprise business, build their decentralized database platform, which is their core service, and support their community of developer, while working on their Bluzelle tokens ICO planned to launch end of October.

The tokens will be earned by the operators' community, as well as those who provide the hardware resources needed for data storage, the "farmers".
