Tron announces the launch of µTorrent Web

µTorrent Web, a web service which aims to change up the way we stream and download media has just been launched.

Tron foundation, founder and CEO, Justin sun posted a tweet announcing the launch and congratulating the Bittorent team for their development:

Within the presentation video, the Product Designer of µTorrent Web, Cory Keller discusses the advantages of the new web client, elaborating that you can watch and play torrents whilst it downloads. The team has also updated security, stating that an automatic malware detector will snap into action as soon as the user searches for something.

Back in July Tron acquired the decentralized sharing protocol, BitTorrent. Slotting nicely into its goal to become “the largest decentralized Internet ecosystem in the world.”
