Luxcore goes through massive reorganization, names John McAfee as new CEO

In a medium post, blockchain and cryptocurrency company Luxcore has announced that they are appointing John McAfee as their new CEO.  According to the organization, McAfee has been supporting Luxcore for several months as an advisor.

In the roadmap the company noted that they have completed a number of successful hard forks including some upgrades to the blockchain including SegWit, block pruning, hybrid masternodes and smart contracts to name a few. McAfee also made the announcement on twitter.

Luxcore has said they are now shifting from development to usability and are focuses on becoming more heavily involved in the “business side as we seek to make Luxcore a strong, growth-oriented company moving forward. Today, we announce a massive reorganization of the Luxcore business designed to a) take fuller advantage of the skillsets already present within the organization, and b) introduce new personnel to key roles who are better equipped to captain a growth-oriented business amid the competitive blockchain environment.”

LUXCoin is currently worth $2.41 (USD), according to CoinMarketCap.

As some twitter users pointed out, McAfee is widely known, specifically in the crypto field but his celebrity is riddled with allegations and criticism.

Aside from the high profile addition of McAfee to serve as the company's new CEO, Luxcore also promoted Guillaume Huot to Chief Operating Officer (COO), Huot was previously a front-end developer with Luxcore. Frederick Angers is a new hire and will become Luxcore’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). To read the entire article, click here.
