The toilet might no longer be the only place where you can take a rest from cryptocurrencies (if it was, anyway). Not with TRON’s recently announced partnership: a portable smart toilet provider, MOSHROOM.
So how can cryptocurrencies help in such sensible areas of life? Well, with payment. Chinese company MOSHROOM provides portable public toilets with outstanding technological features. They are already popular in Beijing.
TRON Foundation emphasized that blockchain should improve the lives of all people. No one can say it better than Justin Sun, the founder of TRON, though:
“Bathroom experience is a matter of health and dignity for each and every one of us, but it hasn’t received the attention it deserves in many countries. TRON hopes to help MOSHROOM improve bathroom experience for more ordinary people in developing countries, with a focus on cross-border payment settlement.”
Although working towards the good of all people, such high spec facilities cannot be provided free of charge. “The project won’t last long if it is non-profit,” said Cosmos Wu, CEO of MOSHROOM. Not if you have expansion in mind, and the collaboration aims to popularize MOSHROOM’s product outside China: “We hope to adopt a reasonable business model to provide quality bathroom experience with an affordable price for ordinary people across the world, especially those from developing countries,” he added.
The first destinations are countries of South-East Asia, India in particular. So while you might still be able to chill (assuming that they won’t play crypto ads inside the “throne room”), the question is, would you actually give up your TRON coins for a loo?
