One of the brightest days crypto has seen this month, with every token in the top 10 increasing in price. Bitcoin broke the $6800 mark, and market cap is almost back up to where it was at the start of June.
Market cap saw a major spike today, gaining $10 billion in an hour, as BTC and other cryptos rallied despite a relatively low trade volume. BTC dominance is at 42.1%, with many of the smaller altcoins losing credibility steadily over the last few months.
Bitcoin (BTC) - $6833.34 (2.85%)
After staying relatively stable above $6500 for the last few days, Bitcoin shot up almost $200 in just ten minutes today, from $6686 to $6858. The price has now held above $6800 for over 12 hours, for the first time in almost a month.
As usual in crypto, a rising tide lifts all boats, and every token in the top 10 is up for the 24h period. Bitcoin Cash has gained the most value, increasing 6.41% to $771, which is roughly where it was in the last week of June.
Tezos - $2.23 (24.12%)
Controversial token Tezos has been wildly unstable over the past month or so, with its official launch and major investor sell-off, as well as listing on an exchange causing all kinds of fluctuations. The past few days have been overwhelmingly positive, and the token has seen a 24 percent increase over the last 24 hours.
