Ebay and Foxconn join Enterprise Ethereum Alliance

Ebay and Foxconn are two of the latest companies to join the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance (EEA). A list of 74 new members was recently published, including a lot of blockchain or crypto startups as well as these bigger names.

Foxconn is a large scale manufacturer for tech companies like Microsoft and Apple. Joining the EEA shows its interest in implementing blockchain technology, which has the potential to revolutionize its supply chain. It would also be a way to improve transparency, after the company's recent criticism for its working conditions.

Ebay continues to be one of the world's most popular online marketplaces, and an implementation of blockchain technology could improve the way transactions between its milllions of vendors and buyers are processed. It could even open up the possibility of accepting crypto payments sometime in the future.
