Altcoins begin recovering as Bitcoin volatility calms down

Bitcoin appears to have stabilized around the $10,500 mark, finally allowing altcoins to see some relief, with some coins seeing decent gains on Saturday.

Altcoins appear to be seeing some respite following two weeks of extreme volatility, and have begun to see some gains on the weekend.

Bitcoin has settled down around $10,500 allowing altcoins to see slight recoveries after the long week.

Most of the top 100 saw gains in BTC on Saturday, for the first time in days. While being up in USD, altcoins have had a hard time staying up in BTC with the recent volatility.

While the gains are not extreme, it could represent the beginning of a small altcoin rally while Bitoin consolidates at these ranges. Most notable in terms of price increase was BSV and TRON, climbing nearly 13% and 9% respectively.

All eyes will be on Bitcoin and altcoins over the weekend to see if Bitcoin can hold these levels and range for a few more days while altcoins have space to breath.
