New Bitcoin board game teaches the fundamentals of the network

It has been reported by Bitcoinist that a new Bitcoin themed board-game is in the works thanks to the efforts of a user on twitter. The game aims to teach the essentials of the Bitcoin network to those new to the concept.

The game aims to immitate the Bitcoin network with each round representing 52,500 "blocks" and each player "mining" Bitcoin by rolling dice and trying to get the lowest number. It's sort of like Monopoly, but instead of paper money, everything is recorded on a ledger.

Players take turns moving around the board triggering events like network attacks and trading boons or busts. The goal is of course to end up with the most Bitcoin at the end of the game.
