Grayscale Investments records new ATH volume, most are new institutional investors

Grayscale Investments recorded a new all-time high volume of assets under management, most of which are new institutional investors.

The crypto market might be sinking at the moment, but not Grayscale Investments’ managed assets.

The digital asset management company just reported that they record $2.7 billion of assets under management, which is their all-time high volume so far.

The amount mentioned in their Q2 2019 Digital Asset Investment Report that was released on July 15th is almost triple of the assets under management in the preceding quarter.

Around $84.8 million of them came from single-asset and diversified investment products, which is nearly double the amount from the previous quarter.

Among their many kinds of investors, Grayscale said that 84% are institutional. Meanwhile, 70% of the investments are from existing crypto investors who are converting their tokens to Grayscale’s products.

Earlier, it was also reported that the company resumed private placement offer of their Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) shares to accredited investors.

Lastly, the firm concluded that the number of new investments was one of the major crypto prices’ boosters, as reported by Cointelegraph.
