Weekend gains: Bitcoin back above $11,500, XRP and Monero pushing up

The first few hours of this weekend have seen noticeable gains across all major cryptocurrencies, as green prevails in the charts.

Slow but steadily, Bitcoin has managed to regain the $11,500 range and several other tokens are performing quite well following a period of sideways price action. Global market cap appears to be ready to regain the $330 million mark, after gaining about $10 million in the last 24 hours, taking into consideration numbers provided by CoinMarketCap.

As shown by the chart above, Bitcoin is now trading above $11,600 on most exchanges, after raising from about $11K to its current range over the last hours. XRP has just raised up above $0.40, thanks to an almost 6% increase, meanwhile Monero is the best performing asset today among the leading 20 cryptos by market cap, thanks to an increase of almost 9% in price.
