Advanced Blockchain AG starts trading on Xetra Exchange today

Advanced Blockchain AG, a blockchain development firm is the first blockchain-based company to be listed on Xetra digital stock exchange, operated by Deutsche Börse based in Frankfurt, Germany.

Advanced Blockchain AG is a company focusing on the design, development and deployment of blockchain technology. The Berlin-based company together with its subsidiary initiated the peaq project which is working on developing an efficient base-layer protocol that can overcome the vulnerabilities of traditional blockchain systems. 

Advanced Blockchain made this announcement through its blog on July 1. 

 Additional Xetra platform

Xetra is an all-electronic trading system operated by the Deutsche Börse and is based in Frankfurt, Germany. It offers increased flexibility for seeing order depth within markets and offers to trade in stocks, funds, bonds, warrants and commodities contracts.

Advanced Blockchain AG was also listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in January 2019. 

According to the official news, The Xetra system was launched in 1997 for use on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange but expanded to be used by over 200 trading participants from 16 European countries, Hong Kong and the United Arab Emirates.

This additional trading venue for Advanced Blockchain AG would aid the development of new investor groups, especially with a diverse international background. Existing listings on the Dusseldorf Stock Exchange and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange will continue.
