John McAfee sides with Elon Musk, agrees Dogecoin will go to the moon

Aside from his short-lived stint as the Dogecoin CEO, Elon Musk has also publically stated that the project is one of his favorite cryptocurrencies. Now, Dogecoin has another high-profile fan as US Presidential candidate John McAfee has agreed that Doge is gearing up for a huge price rally.

The SpaceX CEO became associated with the token on April Fool’s Day when Musk was jokingly appointed as the project’s CEO, which he accepted before promptly stepping down. Now, despite Dogecoin’s humorous origins, the coin has proved that it’s here to stay. As such, several prominent industry experts believe the project is poised for a huge rally.

John McAfee is one such expert. He was recently informed via Twitter by an enthusiast named Samu that Dogecoin could be getting ready for a price surge. He responded in agreement.

McAfee has been a fan of Dogecoin for some time, tweeting earlier in May that Dogecoin has become one of the fastest growing coins based on use.

After McAfee responded in agreement, Samu further stated that Dogecoin will be going to the moon with Elon Musk and John McAfee at the helm:

Weirdly enough, McAfee’s comments were made on Elon Musk’s 48th birthday.
