CNBC's Joe Kernen: 'Only Bitcoin is currency for the people'

CNBC’s Joe Kernen who recently became the unlikely hero to the Bitcoin community after bashing Facebook’s Libra cryptocurrency, continued his rant against Facebook today by stating that Bitcoin is the only currency for the people.

Speaking to a guest, CNBC's Joe Kernen stated that the coorporations and the people who are involved get all the 'float'.

'I have seen it said like this', Kernen continues.

'Fiat currency, is currency for governments, Libra is currency for coorporations.'

'Only Bitcoin is currency for the people!'

Kernen points out that he almost feels like an evangelist for Bitcoin while asking out loud who put Facebook, of all companies, in charge of giving currency to the rest of the world.

'Some social media site, why should they be the once in a position to dictate how digital currencies work.'

'Why Facebook, with their history, that would be the last person I'd give the keys to.'

Chepicap previously reported that Joe Kernen noted that crypto Twitter started treating him 'like a god,' after bashing Facebook’s Libra cryptocurrency.

Somethings tells us that won't be changing any time soon.
