Tyler Winklevoss: If Bitcoin breaks 10k, you can bet it's going to break 15k

Prominent Bitcoin billionaire Tyler Winklevoss has made another bullish prediction about the top crypto. He claims that BTC is likely to break past the $15,000 level if it can break $10k.

After pushing past the $9,000 mark just under a week ago, Bitcoin is testing resistance levels around $9.4k, and looks likely to break the $10,000 level sometime in the near future.

Winklevoss, the CEO and co-founder of crypto exchange Gemini and its USD-pegged stablecoin (along with his twin brother Cameron) believes that $15,000 will be the next stop after $10k is broken. He isn't the first trader to point out that there appears to be very little resistance above this point, although $11.5k and $14k have been suggested as potential stumbling blocks along the way.

When asked for more specifics about his analysis, Winklevoss pointed out that the psychological effect of BTC being valued at five figures for a second time would be significant. He also backed up his prediction by comparing BTC to gold, suggesting that it could claim a significant part of its market share in future to drive the price up even higher.

Fellow celebrity crypto figure John McAfee responded to Winklevoss' tweet. As usual, the software legend and future presidential candidate was in hyper-bullish mode, one-upping the $15k prediction with his call of $1 million.
