Ethereum could hit $1,000 by the end of 2019, trader suggests

According to crypto analyst, Smart Contracter, AKA Benjamin Blunts, the world's most popular altcoin could hit $1,000 yet again by the time the end of the year comes to a close.

As Ethereum is currently trading around the $272 price mark, close to hitting a year-to-date high, crypto trader, Benjamin Blunts, took to Twitter to suggest that Ethereum could hit $1,000 again by the end of 2019.

The analyst posted the below chart, where the current Ethereum chart looks a lot like it did in the beginning of 2017, which is the moment when Ethereum surged from less than $100 to the hundreds of dollars per coin.

The trader suggests that we might see Ethereum skyrocket towards the $1,000 price level, once ETH clears the $302 price mark.

'$Eth 2017 - present comparison, if we clear $302, look the fuck out', he tweeted.

The $1,000 Ethereum prediction comes as Chepicap recently reported that Ethereum 2.0 researcher Justin Drake stated that January 3, 2020, might be the date phase zero of Ethereum 2.0 (A.K.A. Serenity) goes live.

Most likely, the bullish crypto sentiments will have a positive price effect on ETH as well, but do you think that Ethereum really can hit $1,000 by the end of the year? Let us know in the poll below.
