Did Craig Wright forget that he claimed to be Satoshi Nakamoto?

Twitter user, Danny Knight, a Bitcoin collector and self-proclaimed shitcoin trader, took to Twitter to point out the moment where Craig Wright appears to forget his own claim of being Satoshi Nakamoto, the inventor of Bitcoin.

Twitter user, Danny Knight, recently shared a clip from Wright’s presentation during the CoinGeek Toronto Conference, at the Carlu in Toronto, Canada.

In the below clip you can see Craig Wright (better known as FakeToshi by the crypto community) stumble for just a few seconds and appears to have briefly forgotten that he wrote the Bitcoin whitepaper.

At the 5:00 time stamp, Wright says:

'There’s this whole section, I remember some white paper, um, back in 2008, had this section on how identity worked in Bitcoin', Wright says.

'I remember reading it… probably when I wrote it... and there was this different way of doing things…'

Obviously, crypto Twitter picked up on the strange phrasing and body language by Wright, pointing out that a person who actually writes a specific paper, doesn't go around saying that he remembers reading it.

That person would just say: When I wrote it ...

The 'Satoshi vs faketoshi' debacle is far from over, even though we all wish it was. What will be the next move? Who knows, and frankly, who cares? Let us know in the poll below, and share your feelings in regards to Craig Wright in the comments.
