'If Litecoin breaks $171, it could FLY', analyst suggests

Cryptocurrency trader and analyst, Josh Rager, took to Twitter to suggest that Litecoin could 'FLY' when the silver to Bitcoin's gold breaks the $171 price point.

As the world's number one cryptocurrency continues to fail to hold above the $8,000 price level, the silver to Bitcoin's gold continues to show impressing gains on the day.

The 4th most popular cryptocurrency is currently trading at $136.58, and is showing more than 8% gains on the day, while most of the crypto market is struggling slightly.

Litecoin has provided one fantastic run this past 40 days providing almost 500% gains from its low of $23, and with Litecoin’s halving event being less than 2 months away, analyst are claiming that Litecoin's price has many more highs coming its way.

As we are seeing the tell-tale signs that the upcoming halving could provide a strong catalyst for Litecoin, cryptocurrency trader and analyst, Josh Rager, recently suggested that Litecoin could 'FLY' when the silver to Bitcoin's gold breaks the $171 price point.

In the meantime we have crypto trader and analyst, going by the Twitter handle, Moon Overlord, pointing out that already in January, he was predicting that the coming Litecoin halving would be a fundamentally bullish event, which could substantially affect the price.

Ok, we admit, sometimes certain price predictions do age well.

Of course, we have to point out that the Litecoin Halving might not have the desired effect after all, so trade carefully.
