Dutch blockchain ticketing service GUTS, looks to break new records again

Following the recent success of the Dutch based blockchain company that previously set the record for selling the most tickets on the blockchain for an event, it looks like the company are about to do it again.

GUTS recently sold over 50,000 tickets in September 2018 for comedian Jochem Myjer, selling out his 36-night comedy run at Amsterdam's Royal Theatre.

The GUTS platform, which is run on the GET Protocol, commented on their earlier success saying "The doors are now open for more large-scale and international events, which will be the focus for the time to come"

The company have stuck to their original plans and are set to sell 35,000 tickets for two shows for Dutch pop star Guus Meeuwis at PSV football club on 12 and 13 June.

The show will be the largest-ever blockchain ticketing sale. GUTS tickets are registered with blockchain technology which allows organisers to track each ticket, preventing fraud and above-face-value-resale of tickets.

Tickets for the show are officially for sale through GUTS tickets.
