Peter McCormack proceeds with lawsuit, will face Craig Wright in court

Peter McCormack, popular Bitcoin podcaster and one of the most vocal opponents to Craig Wright, has provided an update on his legal battles with Craig Wright.

Yesterday, Peter McCormack took to Twitter asking the crypto community for advice about how best to move forward with his lawsuit from Wright. After the community shared their thoughts, McCormack has provided an update, stating he has asked UK-based law firm, Reynolds Porter Chamberlain (RPC), to act on his behalf against Craig Wright.

He continues, stating that as of today, they have filed with the court an intention to defend “this nonsense lawsuit with the full intention of a crushing victory.” McCormack notes that while he can front some of the costs himself, having RPC take up the case will require funds. As such, he’s accepting any advice and support that’s offered.

On that note, the podcaster added that he will be coordinating “with a trusted group of Bitcoiners” to determine the best way to raise capital to build the most “vigorous defense possible.”

McCormack concludes, stating “This started as an attack on our brother Holdonaut [SIC] and has become a broader attack on many. Others have been abused and mistreated in the background. I will not let an Australian and a Canadian use my country to attack Bitcoin. Let’s f*cking have it Craig!”
