'30% of Binance money funds women in prostitution', says Craig Wright

Craig Wright (who is nicknamed Faketoshi by part of the crypto community), made a couple of outrageous claims about Binance by saying that 30% of Binance money funds women in prostitution.

Vin Armani, co-founder of Counter markets, took to Twitter to post a short video segment of a talk, given by Craig Wright, who spoke at CoinGeek Toronto Conference, at the Carlu in Toronto, Canada.

In the video we hear Wright making the outrageous claim that 30% of Binance money is used to fund illegal activities, such as prostitution and slavery.

'BTC is still used, because of the illegal operations by Binance and BitFinex, and Tether, to fund illegal operations, pumping money, illegal money travel, illegal use of illegal people smuggling', Wright says.

'Right now, 30% of Binance money, funds women in prostitution. 30% of Binance and Tether funds women in slavery.'

Shocking claims which haven't gone unnoticed on crypto Twitter.

Popular Bitcoin podcaster, Peter McCormack, who himself is being sued by Wright, was quick to reach out to the Binance CEO, 'CZ', asking him if he saw what the 'Moroninator' was saying about Binance.

At the time of writing, there wasn't yet a reaction from CZ or Binance.

Crypto Twitter reacts with unbelief, shock and as always, a touch of sarcasm and humor.
