Cardano (ADA)

Cardano is a decentralized public blockchain that is home to the ADA cryptocurrency. It’s currently the 12th biggest cryptocurrency ranked by market cap and is available to buy on numerous exchanges. Bittrex, Binance and Huobi, eToro and HitBTC are some of the exchanges that offer ADA. In order to use ADA, however, you have to download Daedalus Wallet.

The Cardano roadmap is governed by three principles; the growth of the community and its needs, a distributed and resilient network, and balancing the pace of research and development. While currently in Byron, the bootstrap phase where improvements are being made, Cardano has explained that their roadmap has changed. A new roadmap will be released detailing their 2020 vision after the IOHK summit takes on April 17-18. For the time being though, Cardano is currently working on the wallet backend and debugging. They are also going to improve the design of the Daedalus and make integration through APIs to third parties simpler. After that, they will move from Byron to Shelly which will see the platform become decentralized.
